THE HIGH DESERT BRANCH OF THE CWC

The Apple Valley Civic Center and Library

Come and enjoy the friendliest cup of coffee in town!

The High Desert Branch meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday in the beautiful community of Apple Valley, California.

Our members and guests get together in a friendly, open atmosphere of desert hospitality-- yet with a strong dedication to learning and teaching the skills and techniques of writing.

Our membership is involved in poetry, screenwriting, fantasy, biographies, memoirs, romance, historical novels, journalism, fiction and non-fiction.

All genres and writing interests of our guests are welcome.

Critique groups are available for members at no charge for deeper analysis and feedback.  Non-member guests may attend one time as a non-participating observer.

A very good critique article by Louisa Burton gives a good overview of the critique process.

We have an exciting program of guest speakers lined up for 2010.  Come and join us!

The address of the Apple Valley Library is:

14901 Dale Evans Parkway

Apple Valley, CA 92307
